Within the newly revitalized area of downtown Oakland, the mixed-use five-story wood-framed apartments are engineered over four stories of podium. The 316-unit, 384,000 square foot structure encompasses a single-story concrete residential level on a post-tensioned concrete transfer deck, atop two mixed-use post-tensioned concrete levels over one level of subterranean parking. A mat slab foundation system and shotcrete concrete walls are used.
