Fullerton Community Center – Fullerton, CA
Portfolio | Civic
The intergenerational community center combines the Fullerton Boys and Girls Club, the Fullerton Senior Center, and community recreational services programs into a single facility. The three-buildings comprise 72,000 square feet of wood framing, structural steel, and concrete block. The two-court gymnasium with long-span bowstring steel trusses is enclosed by architecturally intensive CMU detailing with clerestory windows. Adjacent to the gymnasium is an indoor swimming pool with extensive canopies and trellises connecting all functions.
